Their construction is the result of improvements Fizik based on the feedback of cyclists who face all kinds of terrain and conditions, from the toughest ultra bikepacking races to the local trails. The lining ensures continuous ventilation without sacrificing protection thanks to the reinforcement of the TPU tip.
They are easily adjustable with a practical BOA closure to fit any situation in seconds.
The X5 sole allows a better grip and a greater traction during the pedal. The rubber dowels and integral lining, even on the mesopiede, provide a secure support when the roughest paths force you to get off the bike. The nylon plate hidden inside the sole provides a balanced stiffness for an efficient pedal.
