Arai Helmet is a Japanese company that produces sports helmets both for motorcycle racing and automotive racing, and for everyday use.

Founded in 1937 and, in the first post-war period, began the production of protective helmets for workers; since 1952 it also began the production of specific protections for motorcyclists.

From 1963 production, until then limited to the domestic market, is expanded to export, especially to the United States of America.After sponsoring the U.S. driver Freddie Spencer, winner of the World Class 500 title in the 1983 motorcycle, the promotional activity in the racing world on the two wheels continued through the sponsorship of other drivers and consequently the growth of the brand.
